The new El Dorado Livestock Auction sale pavilion 2 1/2 miles east of El Dorado will be the location of this regional meeting. Topics will include the new Sunflower Supreme Replacement Heifer Program, weaning management options, and the Trichomoniasis regulations. Registration and the meal will start at 6:00 pm, followed by the program at 6:30 pm.

• The Sunflower Supreme Replacement Heifer Program is a program offered by Kansas State University and the Kansas Department of Agriculture for Kansas producers who are looking for management guidelines and additional marketing options for their replacement heifers. This meeting with provide information about guidelines and participation requirements for producers.
• Weaning management techniques and understanding of vaccinations and other important testing methods for replacement heifers will be discussed.
• New regulations for cow-calf producers in regards to Trichomoniasis regulations will also be covered by Dr. Larry Hollis, K-State Extension Veterinarian. Dr. Hollis will help prepare producers for guidelines on transportation and testing information for management of this reproductive disease.
