  • Heavy rains, severe weather expected for Thursday

  • Looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast, there is another chance for precipitation on tap for our area. This time, to add some spice to the mix, we’re also looking at a possibility for some severe weather.

  • After spending the last month drying out a little bit more than we would have liked, the recent re-appearance of rain has been very welcome (though we’re grateful to have not received it in the same quantities as Colorado!).
    Looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast, there is another chance for precipitation on tap for our area. This time, to add some spice to the mix, we’re also looking at a possibility for some severe weather.
    Severe thunderstorms, capable of producing hail up to half-dollar size and wind gusts to 60 mph, could develop by tomorrow afternoon across South Central Kansas. By Thursday evening, the severe threat is predicted to shift southeast, concentrating primarily on areas along and southeast of the Turnpike.
