The Bulldogs fell behind 20-0 early against Lenexa-Christ Prep, but scored two touchdowns to get within eight points at halftime at 20-12.

Christ Prep outscored the Bulldogs by nearly the same score in the second half and went on to win 40-28.

Chase Banister threw a pair of touchdown passes to Drew Chadic and scored a third TD on the ground from 10 yards out for the Bulldogs.

Cale Thomas scored a defensive touchdown for Douglass on a 35-yard fumble recovery.

Douglass drops to 0-2 on the season and will play for its first win of the season against against Medicine Lodge at home next Friday night.
