  • The Remington High School Lady Broncos volleyball team hosted Sedgwick and Berean Academy Tuesday in Whitewater.
    The Lady Broncos took on  Sedgwick in their first match of the evening coming from behind to win a three game match going, 24-26, 25-22 and 25-22.
    Madison Janzen had 12 assists and was 10/12 in serving with 4 aces. Jasmine Ingalsbe had 17 good attacks with 9 kills and 9 assists for the match.
    Kristyn Wedel had 16 good attacks with 6 kills and 6 aces. Kylee Schunn had 36 good passes and 4 good attacks with 1 kill.
    Deanna Ingalsbe had 8 good attacks with 2 kills and 9 total blocks. Alyssa Hinz had 5 aces and 4 good attacks.
    Kelcey Hinz had 20 good passes.
    In their second match of the evening Remington defeated the Berean Academy Warriors in two games going, 25-11 and 25-9.
    Kristyn Wedel had 6 good attacks with 5 kills. Madison Janzen had 13 good attacks with 6 kills.
    Kylee Schunn served perfect with 9 and had 2 aces. Jasmine Ingalsbe served 13/14 for the match.
    Sedgwick sent the Berean Warriors without a victory Tuesday winning in two games going, 25-19 and 25-11.
    The Remington Lady Broncos are now 7-2 overall.  Remington moved to 2-0 in Heart of America League play.
    This Saturday the Lady Broncos travel to participate in the the Flinthills Invitational  tournament.
