The Cedar Pines Municipal Golf Course will be closed now through the end of March, 2014. The closure is due to the fact that many of the greens are experiencing a fungal infestation and need to be tilled and re‐planted.
Until new grass is given time to grow and is mature enough to withstand typical golf traffic, the course will be closed.
The City of Andover thanks the public for its understanding while these improvements are being made. “We look forward to offering a better quality golf experience to Cedar Pines patrons this spring,” stated Mayor Ben Lawrence.
The City wishes to assure individuals with memberships at Cedar Pines that they will receive a credit for the time they are unable to access the course once it reopens next year. If you have any questions about the temporary closure of the golf course, please call Andover City Hall at 733‐1303.
