The Butler County Sheriff's Office has arrested two men in connection with a robbery in Douglass on Aug. 20 and booked them into the Butler County Jail.Officers arrested Brennan M. Chaney, 22, of Douglass, and Nelson G. Williams, III, 32, of El Dorado on Aug. 26 and charged them with burglary and theft, said Sheriff Kelly Herzet. The two were seen on surveillance breaking into Kansas Arcadium, an arcade located at 226 S. Forrest in Douglas. They stole an X-Box 360, controllers, other accessories and numerous X-Box games, as well as several DVDs, totaling approximately $3,300.Herzet said there is still a lot of the property that has not been recovered but they are checking pawn shops and other places. The surveillance video led to the arrest of Chaney, which caused him to admit he was one of the suspects."He wouldn't give up the other suspect," Herzet said. "Through studying video and enhancing it we were able to find the other suspect."That surveillance footage also was uploaded to YouTube by the store owner.Herzet said, while that did not play a part in these arrests, there are being more and more cases where uploading videos to YouTube have led to the recovery of stolen property.
