From the Flint Hills of Kansas to the White House will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Augusta.
It will be a celebration of memories by Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, grandparents of President Barack Obama, and other stories of Butler County’s history from the 1930s and 1940s. Special guests will include oral history narrators.
It will be held at Garfield Elementary School, 1053 Osage St.
The Butler County History Center has been a proud partner for this event and will be featuring a special exhibit at the presentation.
