El Dorado will soon have one less food choice after Taco Tico, a locally owned Mexican restaurant, closes its doors this afternoon.
The restaurant, which has been one of several fast-food staples on Central Avenue for the past 10 years, will be locking its doors for the final time.
"Today is our last day," said Manager Crystal Mugg. "We'll be closing as soon as we run out of food."
The building, which has been for sale for several years, was purchased by another restaurant hopeful.
"It was a pretty good offer," explained Mugg. "The building is going to be a BBQ place now."
Hog Wild BBQ will be moving into the location. They will be opening in 60 to 90 days.
