How I Met Your Mother alum Laura Bell Bundy is joining Anger Management as a new series regular, FX announced Monday.
Bundy will play Dr. Jordan Denby, Charlie's new sex study research partner. A brilliant psychologist, Jordan's recent divorce, affection for alcohol and unpredictable mood swings cause for plenty of new twists and turns for Charlie's personal and professional lives.
Bundy replaces former star Selma Blair, who exited the comedy in June after tension arose between her and series star and executive producer Charlie Sheen. Blair played a therapist, Kate, with whom Sheen's character had a close friendship and a roller coaster on-and-off relationship.
A Tony nominee who played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde - The Musical on Broadway, Bundy is best known for playing Robin's co-anchor Becky on How I Met Your Mother and most recently Shelby on Hart of Dixie.
Bundy, who also recently released the country duet "Two Step," begins work on Anger Management this week.
