Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones are leaving Parks and Recreation, TVGuide.com has learned.
According to Buzzfeed, which first reported the news, the pair will leave the NBC comedy in the 13th episode. The duo plays on-again-off-again couple Chris and Ann, who decided in the Season 5 finale that they were going to keep trying to have a baby. "[Ann] still very much wants to get pregnant," executive producer Mike Schur recently told TVGuide.com, "so that's going to be a big story for her, about whether or not that can happen, when and how soon, etc."
Jones, who has been a fixture on the series since its debut, most recently co-starred with Andy Samberg in the film Celeste and Jesse Forever (which she also co-wrote) while Lowe stars in the upcoming NatGeo telepic Killing Kennedy as JFK.
Parks and Rec returns on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c on NBC.
