Keri Myers, CFRE, has been hired as the new Director of Development at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

El DORADO - Keri Myers, CFRE, has been hired as the new Director of Development at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. She began working in that capacity in June, 2013.

Ms. Myers will be responsible for building relationships throughout the region to create opportunities for residents to connect with the Hospital and its mission to provide compassionate, professional healthcare to the people it serves.

“I have found Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital to be a community asset with outstanding leadership, quality care, and a caring spirit that remains its core. It is a privilege for me to represent the Hospital in the community,” says Myers. “The potential impact of partnerships with donors will literally be life-changing for people in the communities we serve.”

Myers has nine years experience in fundraising, four of those with the El Dorado United Way organization, and the past five as the Executive Director of Development for the Butler Community College Foundation in El Dorado.

Myers received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Bachelor of Arts in History from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.  She holds a membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and has also attained the designation of Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).

Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit, general acute care hospital that includes a home health agency, a dialysis center and a cancer center. The Hospital is governed by a local board of citizens, and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
The Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital Foundation’s sole purpose is to receive charitable gifts to be used for maintaining and improving the programs and services of the Hospital.  The Foundation offers tax advantages to contributors and provides a more effective vehicle for the investment and management of various types of donations and funds.  Through the years, the Foundation has helped fund community vaccination programs, nursing scholarships, medical equipment acquisition and more in support of the Hospital.
