Morgan has been a responsible citizen in his home, school and his community in his time at El Dorado High School.
He is quick to help his mother with her home daycare.
“I have always helped and I make sure that things are in order before I clock out,” said Morgan.
Morgan plans on attending college through grants and loans along with the help from the Morrison Scholarship
This scholarship was named after Darrin Morrison who played baseball at El Dorado High School, Butler Community College and Fort Hays State University.
Darrin, the son of Ron and Bev Morrison, was the most valuable player for the 1990 Class 5A state championship team, as well as a member of Post 81 Class AA American Legion championship team.
Morrison died in 1998 in Oklahoma and the scholarship has been awarded to a Butler County senior each year, with the first recipient in 1999.
