Myrtle Lucille Jackson, 81, passed away Monday July 1, 2013 in Derby. Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Myrtle was born on Oct. 1, 1923 in Cedar Point, Kan., the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Roberts) Widler. She graduated from Clements-Matfield Green High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Jackson in April of 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; she was involved in their Bible study. She loved to crochet, her flowers and her garden. She was an avid bowler and she could cook pies.
Survivors include brother, Bill Widler of Clements; sisters, Betty Pruitt of Derby and Joan Kelsheimer of Cedar Point; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Lester, Richard and Lyle; and sisters, Mildred and June.
