Andrew Donald “Andye” Ades, 41, of Prairie Village, Kan., and formerly of El Dorado, died Sunday, June 16 in Kansas City.
Andrew Donald “Andye” Ades, 41, of Prairie Village, Kan., and formerly of El Dorado, died Sunday, June 16 in Kansas City. Celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery.
Andye was born Dec. 20, 1971 in Wichita, the son of Ronald and Cathye (Rood) Ades. He graduated from Circle High School. He was a member of a motorcycle club, the Fire and Iron Station #105. He was united in marriage to Melody Steinborn on Oct. 23, 2010 in Andover. Andye was an avid motorcycle man. He especially loved to be with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Melody; children, Vincent and wife Sara Ades, Christopher and wife Lacee Duntz, Cassandra Ades, all of El Dorado, Andrea and husband John Simmons of Fall City, Neb., and Brandon Duntz of Prairie Village; mother, Cathye Rood of El Dorado; brother, Anthony and wife Robin Ades of Andover; sister, Angela Ades of El Dorado; and five grandchildren, McKenzie, Kael, Aleighia, McKyla and Jaxton. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; brother, Craig; and his grandparents.
