Junior Jess Spivey, 87, died Friday June 14 in Wichita. Celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
Junior was born May 5, 1926 in Leon. He was united in marriage to Rosalind Witbeck on Dec. 30, 1963. Junior loved to collect baseball caps. He had his own business of mowing yards for other people he always made the yards look in excellent condition. He was a farmer and loved being on the farm.
Survivors include wife, Rosalind (Rosie); son, William and wife Martha Spivey of Ronda, N.C.; daughter, Marilyn and husband Rollie Wilson of El Dorado; brothers, Leonard Kingsley of El Dorado, Eddie Kingsley of Elgin, Kan., Harry Kingsley of Olathe, Kan., and Mike Kingsley of Arkansas City; grandchildren, J.R. Wilson, LeaAnne Wilson and Hayli Brown, Tammy Esposito and Mamie and husband Richard Graham; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers LaVern, Myron, Cecil and Willie Kingsley and sister Frances.
