Kirk R. Parscal, 51, of El Dorado, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Cremation will precede the service.
Kirk was born on Oct. 17, 1961 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Glen and Pamela (Button) Parscal. He was a guard at the El Dorado Correctional Facility and was a member of the American Legion. He loved fishing, play guitar and being with his family. Kirk served in the National Guard.
Kirk was a kind and loving person who was taken too soon. He will be missed by all his brothers, Bruce and his wife Melanie of Oxford, Ohio, Mark Parscal of El Dorado and Rod Parscal of Denver, Colo.; sisters, Marilyn LaBonte of Ann Arbor, Mich., Deborah and her husband Lenin of Tampa, Fla., Teresa Haigh and her husband, Joe of Denver, Colo.; seven nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Memorial in his memory is to the American Cancer Society.
