Blaine and Elizabeth Bowlin of Whitewater will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2013.
Blaine Bowlin and the former Elizabeth Marie Mosiman were married June 16, 1953 at the Missionary Church in Elbing.
Since that time they have made their home at 116 N. Locust in Whitewater.
Blaine served two years during the Korean War in Europe and Elizabeth taught school at Greenwich and Whitewater for a few years and then they owned and operated the Whitewater Locker Co. in Whitewater for 38 years. During those years they both have served their community and church in many various ways and positions.
They have three children, Scott (Terre) of Whitewater, Brenda (David) Highbarger of Towanda and the late Carl Bowlin who was deceased Dec. 12, 1981.
They have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
