Rusty Rierson will be at the Leon United Methodist Church this Sunday.

Rusty Rierson, a guitarist and country singer, will be a guest at the Leon United Methodist Church at 11 a.m.on Sunday, June 9.

He is a native of Leon, growing up on a family farm. He got interested in music when he was 14 years old.

He began singing in church and soon it became a passion. Rierson has played all over the States.

He released his new album "Souvenirs," a project recorded in Nashville, with producer Richie Owens.

Everyone is invited to attend. There will be a western style potluck dinner. There will also be western decor. Those who come are encouraged to wear cowboy boots, shirts and jeans.
