  • The 28th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Football games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 8th.

  • The 28th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Football games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 8th. The Division I game will be held at 1 p.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pregame will begin at 12:30 p.m. with introduction of the players.
    Michael Hinnen, El Dorado, has been selected to play on the East squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Flinthills High School.
    Football statistics and honors include: First Team All District Running Back, Defensive Back, and Return Specialist; 1st Team SCBL Defensive Back, K-Preps All State, 1st Team All Grasslands Defensive Back.
    In other sports he was First Team SCBL Infielder, Honorable Mention SCBL Outfielder, All Tournament Wildcat Classic, Honorable Mention basketball.
    Activities and honors outside school include 4-H, Youth Leadership Butler Graduate, Youth Basketball coach, youth group leader.
    Hobbies and interests include playing baseball, hanging out with friends, lifting eights and learning about God.
    Activities and honors in school include: All Academic SCBL, 4 years principal's honor roll, FCA captain, Student Council representative, class vice president, and International Thespian Society.
    Michael's parents are Roger and Karen Hinnen and he plans to attend Independence Community College, play football and baseball and major in physical therapy.
