Darryn Dwane “DD” Moore, 47, passed away Tuesday June 4, 2013. Celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. Visitation with family present will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, also at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Hope Cemetery east of Arkansas City, Kan.
Darryn was born Jan. 12, 1966 in Ponca City, Okla., the son of Ernest Lee and Roxie Mae (White) Moore. He graduated from El Dorado High School. While in school he was a diver and held some diving records. He was an outside guy who loved to fish and hunt. DD also loved his family and dogs.
Survivors include his sons, Casey and wife Amber Moore and Jared Moore, all of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; mother and step-father, Roxie and Paul Aguilar of Stroud, Okla.; father, Ernest Moore; brother, Bryan Lee Moore; and sister ,Teri and husband Floyd VanDever, all of Leon; grandchild, Collin Moore; favorite niece, Shannon and husband Frankie Runnion of Augusta; favorite nephew, Beau and wife Kelly Bergeron of Wichita; great-nephews, Chance Runnion and Jameson Bergeron; great-niece, Mallory Bergeron; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents White and grandparents Moore.
