Former Oriole bowler Brandon Hallmark picked the perfect time to bowl his first perfect game.

Hallmark bowled a 300 during the 74th Annual Kansas State Bowling Tournament in Kansas City this past weekend. The event has been going every weekend since March and concludes through the end of May. Hallmark bowled a 701 series in singles competition and was ranked in the top 100 out of more than 2,000 bowlers.

Hallmark, a 2012 graduate of AHS, was one of the Orioles' top bowlers for four years with the program and competed at the State meet his senior season, when he earned a 14th-place medal with a 665 series.

Brandon bowled with his dad, Brian, and grandfather Bill, both of whom also have had 300 games. Also bowling with them at the tournament was Nick Nordman, another former Oriole who earned a second-place medal at State while at AHS.
