  • There are three events going on to help the victims of the Moore, Okla., tornado.
    Taco Tico is now accepting donations through may 25. They are taking bottled water and non-perishable food items. Items can be dropped off the El Dorado location at 1530 W. Central, as well as in Augusta at 205 W. 7th Ave., in Newton at 2406 N. Anderson Ave. and in Wichita at Lizzie's Delight's at 3238 E. Douglas Ave.
    There also are two events this Saturday.
    KC's Bar and Grill and Community Helping Our Kids' Education is holding a "Pack the Patio" food drivem from noon until midnight.
    Fill KC's new patio up with cash, canned foods, water and any other non-perishable items as well as C and D batteries and flashlights to be donated to Oklahoma tornado victims.
    KC's is located two miles south of El Dorado at highway 77/54 and 30th (Airport Road).
    Also on Saturday Outreach, Inc., is working to set up a food packaging event where they will be packaging macaroni and cheese dinners to be shipped to various organizations in Oklahoma to aid with disaster relief.
    The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the El Dorado Civic Center. 201 E. Central.
