Three event highlights
1 The annual Butler County 4-H Mini Fair will be held tonight and the best part is you don’t have to be a 4-H Member to attend this fun, informal-type event.
2 Youth from all across Butler County will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as: origami, making braided loaves of bread, mini-cake walk, insect pinning instructions and project show and tell displays. 4-H members will also be exhibiting pets.
3 Additionally, attendees will be able to try their knowledge at horticulture judging, family and consumer science judging and place setting contests. Later in the evening, there will be a pancake-eating contest and water balloon toss.
Why you should attend
“Come and bring your friends and family to experience 4-H!”
- Charlene Miller, 4-H Youth Agent, K-State Research and Extension/Butler County
