  • Flowers and decorations may be placed on graves for Memorial Day weekend beginning Friday, May 24, and may remain there through Monday, June 3.
At that time, in order to continue the landscape maintenance of the cemeteries, city crews will remove any remaining decorations that are not permanent.
Permanent decorations are those placed in vases or urns that are installed upon a concrete foundation or memorial marker.
Any decorations, artificial or natural, which are not permanent that inhibit the mowing and trimming around the graves and markers will be removed, beginning Tuesday, June 4.
For more information, please call Ron Bowlin, Cemetery Superintendent at 321-3410 or the City of El Dorado Recreation-Cemetery office at 321-9100, ext. 130.
