  • The Circle Lady Thunderbirds defeated Wellington 11-9 and 7-6 Tuesday at home to move to 7-11 this season.

  • The Circle Lady Thunderbirds defeated Wellington 11-9 and 7-6 Tuesday at home to move to 7-11 this season.
    A 10-run fourth inning by Circle propelled them to the win in their first game.
    Reagan Wilson had two hits and two RBIs in the victory. Courtney Kifer and Alexis Wiebe added two RBIs each as well in the big inning.
    Circle scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the second game 7-6.
    Kifer had a double and a home run and three RBIs to help the T-Birds earn the win.
    Ashley Hornya pitched the complete game to grab the win.
    The Circle boys swept the Crusaders in a 4-3 contest and a 11-2 win to move to 11-7 this year.
    Kaden Fowler had a double and a triple and two RBIs to help Garrett Hutson to the win.
    Hutson and Jesse Carpenter each had two doubles and three RBIs in the second game to help Lucas Hyslop to the blow out win.
    Carpenter had three stolen bases and Hutson had two in the contest.
    Braden Kirkpatrick added a double and a RBI, Fowler added three total bases and a RBI as well.
