  • On Saturday May 18 from 9 a.m. to noon members of the First Southern Baptist Church of will be hosting a free car care clinic for single mothers and the elderly in our community.
If you bring your car on that day you will be warmly greeted and offered a comfortable place to wait in a hospitality room.
While you wait they will change your oil (up to 5 quarts), check your fluid levels and tire pressure, vacuum the floor boards and make suggestions of any follow up you may want to do with a professional mechanic.
Pastor Cale Magruder said, “We want to show people in a practical way that Jesus loves them.”
While there is no cost to bring your vehicle they request that you pre-register since there is a limited number of vehicles they can service that day and to allow for them to have the proper supplies on hand.
You can register by calling the church office (775-2231) or online at http://www.augustafsbc.com/oilchange.
