  • Reichardt wins three medals at Andover Invitational

  • Bailey Reichardt had a big day at the Andover Invitational track meet Wednesday.
    Reichardt had three top-four finishes in dash races. She took second in the 400-m (1 minutes, 5.10 seconds), third in the 100-m (13.35) and fourth in the 200-m (29.60) dashes. Reichardt has been steadily emerging as a top runner on a consist basis in the dashes for the Orioles.
    Riley Zerr took seventh in the 100-m hurdles (18.18). Zerr also took sixth in the 300-m hurdles race with a time of 53.25.
    Sydney Williams was fourth in the 1600-m run with a time of 6:32.32.
    For the boys team, Chaydon Carter took fourth in both the boys 100-m (11.37) and 200-m dashes (23.75).
    Jacob Hall took third place in the 1600-m run with a time of 5:08.88. In seventh place was Brandon Forsythe with a time of 5:16.58. Hall also took sixth in the 3200-m run (11:36.53); Forsythe was seventh (11:40.68).
    Reese Willis placed sixth in the 800-m run with a time of 2:21.51.
    Kyler Steinkamp took third place (6 feet, 2 inches) in the high jump. Trae Goken took ninth (5'6").
    Brandon Smith took third in the triple jump (38'4.5") and 12th in long jump (16'7"). Brent Hevier took 11th in long jump (17'3"). Logan Weakley took seventh in the triple jump (36'3").
    Smith also took ninth in the 400-m dash (59.37).
    JT Martin took 11th in the discus with a toss of 109'7". Nate Kroeker was right behind him at 12th place (107'7"). Kroeker also took 12th in javelin with a throw of 127'3". Jaden Garrison took 16th with a throw of 92'2".
    - The track team's meet in El Dorado Friday has been canceled due to weather.
    Martin also took 12th in the shot put (37'6").
