I’m a concerned grandparent and I think it is reprehensible that the schools have grade school children going door-to-door selling crap that no one really wants at inflated prices. In the classroom it is announced what each child has sold. If a child does not have a grandparent or parent who is willing to buy that junk, it makes the children who do not sell it, look like losers. I have had young children come to my door after dark. Now is that safe???? I do not know who is responsible, the school board, the Superintendent, Principals or teachers, for approving this but I think the schools need to get their priorities straight. The school levy is supposed to support the schools. What is that levy being used for if our children are being made to be door to door salesmen?
