  • Robert Luther (Bob) McCulloch was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 21, 2013. A visitation will be held Wednesday at the Kirby-Morris Funeral home between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m.
    The Celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Benton Church, 14300 S.W. 20th, Benton, followed by interment at the Towanda Cemetery.
    Bob was born in Wichita on May 9, 1929 and grew up on a farm Northeast of Towanda. He served his country honorably in the United States Army duringthe Korean War. Upon returning home married his sweetheart, Beverly Ann Reedat the Towanda United Methodist Church on Oct. 9, 1953. They raised theirtwo children on a farm in rural Towanda. Bob worked on the farm and also at Skelly refinery. He eventully decided to work at his true passion and he farmed his families homestead and ground until 2012.
    Surviving family include his wife of 59 years , Beverly McCulloch, son Brad and wife Renata McCulloch; daughter Brenda and husband Doug Berryman; grandchildren Michelle Anderson, Jennifer and Rick Smull,Lauren and Terryl Goldsbary; great grandchildren Matthew, Hailey Anderson and Parker Goldsbury; a sister and brother in law Rosemarie and Don Richard. two special friends, Ed Cabana and Matt Lambky. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Susie McCulloch.
