There was mystery, intrigue and of course, a crime, at the Coutts Museum of Art Mystery Theatre dinner Friday evening. Those attending watched as the mystery of a painting “Empress Josephine” was investigated. During the course of the events, the painting was stolen from the museum and it was up to the audience to help the detectives figure out who was the culprit, accomplice and what the motive was. The play was written by Linda Sanders and local residents played the roles. Prizes were given away for those who guessed the guilty party the first.
