The Augusta High School Junior-Senior Prom on Saturday, April 27, will be held at The Point, 2101 N. Dearborn.
This year’s theme is The Lost World of Atlantis and the public walk-through will be held from 5 to 6 p.m.
The promenade will begin at 8:30 p.m. and will be held outside under the stars. The north parking lot will be reserved for students attending the prom. Party buses and limos will be required to drop off and pick up at the north entrance of The Point.
Parents will have parking in the south and southwest parking lot of The Point. Parking will also be available at the Armory, side streets and at the high school parking lot. Parents are asked to not park on Dearborn St. in front of The Point. Handicapped spaces will be available. Bleachers will be provided and those attending the walk-in may want to bring lawn chairs.
Sophomore students and parents are asked to help clean-up on Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m., at The Point. There will be some items that will need to be moved back to the high school. The clean-up should take about an hour and the sophomores will receive money in their account for next year’s prom cleaning.
