  • The Wildcat boys tennis team had a tough go of it at Winfieldb finishing the day with a 2-10 overall record.
    “It may be the toughest invitational we'll go to all year,” said El Dorado coach Kent Kunkel.
    #2 singles Devin Wyman placed 6th overall with a 1-2 record.
    #1 doubles team Cole Reinhardt and Ethan Turner went 1-2 to place 6th overall as well.
    “Always after a tough tournament, I tell the team that playing top-notch competition will only make you better. This was definitely a day where they can improve,” said Kunkel.
    This week, the El Dorado varsity will be traveling to Circle today and Chanute this Friday.
    The El Dorado JV will be playing a make-up meet at the Binter courts today and will travel to Hesston on Thursday.
