Aletha Cummins, 92, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in Wichita.
Graveside service 2 pm Monday, April 15, 2013, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS (12th St. entrance).
Aletha was born in Haddam, Kan. on Dec. 5, 1920. Her parents were the late Grace (Hamlin) and the late John Engelbrecht of Yates Center, Kan. On Sept. 7, 1935 she married Monroe Mason Cummins at Wellington.
She is survived by: her children, Lila Perry of Wichita, Marilyn Swearingen (Harold) of Augusta, Bill Cummins (Carrice) of Rayville, La., John Cummins of Toronto, Kan., Jim Cummins (Cindy) of Shell Knob, Mo., Carol Fowler (Joe) of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Robert Cummins (Cathy) of Douglass; special friend, Harold Miller; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
