The City of Augusta will be installing a new playground at Garvin Park early this summer. This playground was made possible through a 50/50 grant match from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant program.
The City's park board will be hosting a public meeting at 7 p.m. this evening at City Hall to answer questions and take public input on several proposed park designs.
The three designs under consideration will be displayed in the main hallway at City Hall throughout the day on Thursday, April 11th along with a ballot box. Please feel free to stop in and cast your vote for your favorite design! If you have questions, comments, or can't make it to City Hall during the day to vote, please feel free to attend the brief public meeting with the park board in the City Council chambers at City Hall starting at 7 p.m. tonight.
