Presentation will be an opportunity for information on buying, growing, preserving, using and cooking with herbs.
Kay Neff, owner of Neff Family Farms, will share her vast knowledge of all things herbal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at the Augusta Public Library. Neff will not only be giving tips on what herbs grow in our area and how to grow them, she will also be sharing recipes and have a good selection of herbs for sale to those in attendance.
This will be an opportunity for information on buying, growing, preserving, using and cooking with herbs.
Barb Roths, Butler County Farm and Consumer Science Agent, will be a co-presenter. She will cover a lot of the nutritional aspects of including herbs in your diet. She will also be preparing different dishes that are relatively easy to make. During the program people will be able to taste the different offerings as they enjoy Neff’s presentation.
