ANDOVER, Kan. – Business owners and others interested in entrepreneurship are invited to a free entrepreneurship forum hosted by Butler Community College on Wednesday, April 24, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Butler of Andover Student Union located at 715 E. 13th St. in Andover.
The forum features local entrepreneur George Laham, II. Laham will share his entrepreneurial experiences, including how he has brought some of the nation’s foremost retail and restaurant concepts to Wichita. In 2007, Laham was inducted into the Mid-America Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, which was launched in 2006 by Butler Community College to honor and celebrate the creative and innovative spirit that exemplifies our region.

Entrepreneurship Forums provide unique learning opportunities for Butler students. Regardless of their program of study or career plans, students can gain insight, acquire ideas and build their professional network.
The event is presented by Butler Community College’s Entrepreneurship Institute, a partnership between Butler Community College, NetWork Kansas and the Kansas Small Business Development Center. The Entrepreneurship Institute brings together resources to assist entrepreneurs and business owners at any stage of their venture.
