  • Euda C. Mosier-Bechtold, 94, of El Dorado, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Life Care in Andover. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. There will be a visitation with the family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery. She was born to James Millis and Bessie Pearl Powell Copeland in 1919 in Alco, Ark. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1936 in the declining years of the Great Depression. She was employed in sales, credit, banking and real estate over her career.
    Euda was married to her late husband in Belton, Texas, on May 28, 1943. Together they owned and operated Mosier Real Estate for 8 ½ years in El Dorado. She went on to marry Alvin Bechtold of El Dorado on May 1, 2001. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and loved to square dance and travel. Euda is the former state president of Credit Women International and was past president of Butler County Board of Realtors. She was Realtor of the Year in Butler County in 1990. Her current memberships also include First Baptist Church for over 70 years, National Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Real Estate and Butler County Board of Realtors.
    Euda has two sons, LaDoyt (and wife Jeanette) of Towanda and Dennis (and wife Susan) of Beaumont, Texas. She also has eight grandchildren, Mark (Tricia), Janessa (Andy), Stephanie, Piper (Brian), Michael (Angela), Matthew, Malachi (Cara) and Mirian (Wes); six great-grandchildren, Campbell Kinney, Milani Jackson, Jadie Vaughn, Laila Jackson, Andrew Johnson and Baby girl Mosier; and nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Hollis and Leon Copeland; and first husband, Hayward.
