WICHITA—Former Augusta Oriole and current Friends University right fielder Kelsee Farmer was named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference’s offensive player of the week for her performances for the Falcons last week.
Farmer was 7-for-12 (.583) at the plate with 11 RBIs during a four-game stretch, which included a two-game series against 2012 conference champion Bethany College. During those games, Farmer was 4-for-5 with eight RBIs and two home runs, one of which was a grand slam. She finished the week with a 1.333 slugging percentage.
Farmer is a Class of 2008 graduate of AHS who earned All-League honors during her time with the Orioles’ softball team.
