The Augusta Lions Club, along with support from the City of Augusta, Augusta Safety Department, Augusta merchants, and Oz Bicycle Club, will sponsor the second annual Bicycle Safety Clinic.
The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the City Building and is for youth ages 8-12.
The goal of the Bicycle Safety Clinic is to provide the residents of our community with instruction with safe operation of a bicycle.
In order to participate in the Clinic, bike owners are required to comply with register to meet the City of Augusta Code of Enforcement for bicycle ownership. Registration can be completed at the Augusta Public Safety Department, 2100 Ohio, during normal business hours. The registration will provide a resource in the event the bicycle is stolen or accidentally abandoned. Cost of registration is $1.
