The Grizzlies won their first game on Friday 4-0.

A three-run third inning propelled the Grizzlies to the shut out victory.

Brad Day pitched the complete game shut out going 7 innings, allowing six hits and three walks.

Evan Koehler had two rbi’s and Gabe Cook was 3-3 on the day.

In game two the Grizzlies had 11 hits to plate seven Grizzlies and win 7-1 in the Friday doubleheader.

Brandon Taylor earned the win going 6 innings and striking out 10 meanwhile allowing just one hit, one earned run and two walks.

Taylor helped his cause going 1-3 with two rbi’s.

Dalton Wheat was 2-3 with a run and rbi. Ty Moore was 3-5 with a run scored.

Butler dropped its first game of the series in the third game after allowing 10 runs in the first three innnings of the game and fell 13-9.

Brandon Taylor was 2-3 at the plate with two home runs and finished with 4 rbis. Evan Koehler was 2-4 with two runs and a rbi. Logan Beard was 2-4 with a run and a rbi. Dalton Wheat was 2-5 with a rbi.

The Grizzlies bounced back in the final game to claim the series in 3-2 victory Saturday night.

Butler got all of their runs in the first two innings of the game and held on to win after surrendering 2 runs in the top of the ninth.

Greg Houser got the win and Trever Ezell earned the save his sixth of the year.

Houser went 7 innings striking out 7 allowing no runs and just three hits.

Gabe Cook and Levi Parker were 2-3 with a run scored and Gus Strunk was 1-4 with a rbi and run scored.

Butler takes on Allen County Wednesday at 3 p.m. at McDonald Stadium.
