Cassandra Erlene (Moody) Calhoun, 61, formerly of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday,
March 27, 2013, in Corpus Christi, TX.
Cassandra was born in El Dorado, KS, and was a graduate of the 1969 class of Augusta
High School. On September 7, 1974, she married Michael Calhoun of Newton,
KS. They lived in Augusta until January, 1986 when they moved to Corpus Christi.
Cassandra had a strong love and a caring concern for other people and for her god,
Jehovah, and His son, Jesus Christ. Throughout her life she found great joy in teaching
others the truth found in the Bible.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Rhianna Bell; son, Alex "AJ" Calhoun,
all of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by her father, Earl (Janet) Moody of Augusta;
one brother, Curtis Moody of Coweta, OK; and one sister, Charisse (Randy) Rockett, also
of Augusta. She enjoyed four beautiful grandchildren, Myka, Cailyn, and Bowen Bell;
and Garrett Wondolowski. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Edna Moody and one sister, Candace Moody.

A memorial service will be held April 6, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses, Augusta, KS.
