  • Dear Editor:

Land of plenty - but always enough. Homemade feed sack shirts and hand-me-down clothes, but we had freedom!
Beautiful sunrise for each days beginning, quiet sunset for dreams to build on.
God's handiwork was everywhere, the mighty oak tree along our creek, the chirping of the baby chicks. Baby newborn piglets playing by their mother's side.
Then came wars, Korea, Viet Nam.
Tears of pride for the fallen heroes. I know - because I folded the Flag and looked into the crying eyes of the wives, moms and dads, little kids who did not understand.
Another blight has weakened American from within simply at a politicians whim! 50 million unborn babies murdered. Jesus hears their silent cries of pain and anguish! Only He can forgive our sins. Only Jesus can save and forgive America. Blessed Easter.

    Sincerely,
