Two boys and two girls on Augusta's bowling teams were named to the All-State bowling team for Class 4-1A. Coach Kellee Roberts also earned recognition; she was named the coach of the year for all classes.

For the girls team, Katy Nordman and Bethany Watson earned All-State honors. They were the two highest-scoring bowlers for the girls team all season. Watson earned a regional runner-up title and placed 14th at State. Nordman took sixth place at State as the duo helped the Orioles win the team state championship.

Nordman and Watson were joined by Buhler's Kirsten Allan, KC-Sumner Academy's Kaitlyn Carter, El Dorado's Chelsey Harber and McPherson's Crystal Nutter on the All-State list.

For the boys team, Kayl Warne and Isaac Gonzalez earned All-State honors, as well. Warne and Gonzalez, both seniors, qualified for State individually this season.

Warne and Gonzalez were joined by Sacred Heart's Ryan Franzen, Circle's James Gulick, Cheney's Cody Reida and Collegiate's Jack Stewart on the All-State list.

Other area bowlers who earned All-State recognition include Andover Central's Keri Ladigo.
