April showers bring May flowers. While we have received some much needed rain over the weekend, ample more is still needed before we even think about coming out of the drought. Slight chances of rain are forecast today through Wednesday. However, these are expected to be showers and not bring high precipitation amounts!
Temperatures will fluctuate from the mid-40s to around 50 degrees through Wednesday before beginning a gradual climb to around 70 degrees by Saturday. Overnight lows will be in the 30s. The faithful Kansas wind will be northeast at 13 to 18 and gusting to 26 mph today. This evening, east northeast winds will be 8 to 15 mph and gusting to 22 mph. Tuesday and Wednesday, East winds will be slightly less in the 8 to 11 mph range.
