The Coutts Museum of Art will hold a public reception Thursday evening for the Butler County High Schools and Butler Community College Student Art Exhibition. There will be viewing from 5 to 8 p.m., as well as on Friday during the downtown First Friday events.
All of the high schools in Butler County and art students from Butler Community College were invited to participate in this student art exhibit. Each school was limited to 20 works of art which were selected by the art instructors. More than 150 students have their work on display.
Awards were given by Exhibition Juror Teresa Leonard. These awards were again made possible in part through funds from the El Dorado Charities Auxiliary. The Coutts staff thanks them for supporting this project.
