Every day might be New Year's Eve pretty soon at CNN.
Deadline reports that Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin, who co-host the network's New Year's Eve coverage every year, filmed a pilot Tuesday at the CNN studios in New York.
Few details about the project were available, but the pilot was filmed in front of a live studio audience. CNN is in the midst of a big revamp under the direction of new president Jeff Zucker.
Cooper, 45, currently hosts the daily evening news show Anderson Cooper 360 and is wrapping up the second and final season of his syndicated daytime talk show Anderson Live. He was recently named as one of several possible replacements for Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek should he retire in 2014.
Griffin, 52, currently hosts a weekly talk show on Bravo. Currently in its second season, Kathy underwent several major changes after its first season.
