During the forum Monday evening, Commissioner Nick Badwey, who is running unopposed, had the opportunity to make a statement to the audience.
“I’ve been very happy with the progress over the last four years,” he said. “I think we have accomplished a lot. I hope to continue to work well with all the other entities. I think I can keep an open mind on anything and I will talk to anyone any time. Call me any time. The bottom line to me our goal is to provide the best quality of life in this town we can for our citizens, whether they are property owners or not. If you don’t own property, you still pay taxes through the rate you pay. To me that is the bottom line, the quality of life issue.
