  • Kids Need To Eat, Inc. (KN2E) is a local non-profit that works to raise awareness about food insecurity issues in the community and assists in finding solutions in collaboration with community partners.
It currently is involved in a project to distribute 4,000 free lunches to children in El Dorado this summer, in partnership with the El Dorado School District and the Kansas Food Bank. The name of this project is El Dorado LunchBox: Summer Meals for Kids.
The public is invited to the KN2E Board of Directors meeting in El Dorado from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Bradford Public Library in the Clymer Room.
The is an opportunity to learn about food insecurity issues in the community, participate in initiatives to better understand and solve hunger problems and to make a difference - by joining the KN2E Board of Directors, serving as an advisor or mentor, supporting the El Dorado LunchBox program, or providing feedback and suggestions.
