  • Betty A. Stults, 80, of El Dorado, died Monday, March 4 at SBA Memorial Hospital. There will be no services.
    She was born on May 3, 1932, the daughter of Doil and Alice Pilcher Birchfield. She graduated from high school. Betty was a retired nurse and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and especially taking care of people.
    She was married to Johnny Wolfe in 1949 and he died in September 1962. She later was married to Russell S. Stults in 1965 and he preceded her in death in November 1994.
    Those who survive include: daughters and their spouses, Beverly and Bill Orr of Memphis Tenn., Cindy and Mike Becker of Rantoul, Ill.; a step-son Mike Garrison; two grandchildren, Betty Jane Howerton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jennifer and Brian Cupp of El Dorado; great-grandchildren, Whitney and Nathaniel Cupp; and a son-in-law, Paul Howerton.
    She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Howerton.
