  • The Friends of the Augusta Library are currently preparing for the Used Book Sale, one of the group’s most popular events. Many hours of collecting, sorting and pricing go into the fundraiser.
All proceeds from the Used Book Sale benefit the library.
Now’s the time to clean out your book shelves and donate those used books to the library for the sale. You can drop them off at the library during regular library hours.
The Friends of the Library help in a number of ways. Friends offer financial support for a special library program or service, advocate for the library budget or library capital project, and volunteer assistance with children’s summer reading programs and other services as requested by the Library Director and supported by the Library Board of Trustees.
